Isabella’s Sweetest 1st Birthday

What do you do when your beautiful little princess turns one? Throw her a perfectly pretty little tea party of course! Isabella’s first birthday was such a treat for us to work on! From the sweetest little sweets table filled with BEAUTIFUL, dainty desserts to the pretty blue hutch full of customized party favors, this birthday was not lacking in personal touch! 

We just adore the color scheme of pretty pinks, white and gold with pops of aqua blue. We especially fell in the cozy little blue tent and chandelier which served as the perfect place to snap adorable photos of little guests in their party bests! This party was a total blast for all the kiddos to attend from running around and playing with all their friends to chowing down on kids meals and enjoying more candy and dessert than they knew what to do with. Don't worry the parents were covered too. The adults were greeted with tray passed hor d'oeurves, live music and of course an adults only bar cart filled with some bubbly and custom beverages. 

This sweet little lady sure is lucky to have such an amazingly loving and generous family and we are so happy to have shared in her special celebration! xoxo's to turning one little Isabella. A Star Studded Holiday Event

Tis the season! We were dreaming of a festive holiday party infused with glitz, glam and lots of swagger. We’re so excited to share with you this unique Style and Swagger themed holiday party created for the wonderful employees at RWMI. The star-studded themed event was a top notch party where the food, drinks, atmosphere and the guests were impeccable.

The night started with a VIP entrance to the custom RWMI red carpet where paparazzi, reporters and the press where lined and ready to festively bombard all guests. Upon arrival, guests were given A-list status greeted with personal shout outs, unstoppable camera flashes, and speciality cocktail hand outs. Some employees rose to fame as they explained their iconic wordrobe, reflected back on their favorite moments and memories from 2015. Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe made a show stopping appearance on the red carpet while serenading and striking a pose with all guests. 

After the red carpet treatment guests entered a festive and glam room filled with spectacular details from the beautiful holiday blooms from Ashley Elizabeth, whimsical print work by Jillian Ziska, and the perfect touch of glitter from La Tavola Linens. The night continued on with great music and dancing with our beloved Michael Tiernen. Before the evening ended an ice sculpture mochi dessert and sparkler display rolled out as guests were dancing the night away. There was even a surprise performance from Michael Jackson!!!

We had a blast and we’re so grateful for all our incredible vendors that made this night happen especially James Place. Cheers to RWMI! Thanks for capturing the fun Cali Gabriel !!!

Day 3: Mexican Fiesta - 4th of July Bash

Cheers to the last day of our amazing 4 day Family Reunion! The Mexican Fiesta went off as a huge success. People loved the food, vibe and atmosphere. It helps that the weather was picture perfect too!

Take a peek at our set up for this day! We did not have a professional photographer to document the beauty, so we did our best to capture the true look of the day. Whenever we try and do pictures ourselves it makes us appreciate professionals even more! :)

Thanks to Tam at Isari the florals were INSANE! Ugh we could just eat them all up. The color, texture and vibrance was exactly what our vision was for the day.

Day 1: "Farm To Table" of our 4th of July Party

We recently wrapped up an annual 3 day family reunion party that we do each year for this family. It is the event of the year, for not only all the family members, but our team as well. It is one to write in the books as it is FILLED with activities, amazing food/drinks and story book views. The Before I Do team takes on each and every element of the planning for this event. This year Tammi's boyfriend and his team of sous chefs headed up all the catering! We are so proud of Walter and his team because our client is a foodie to the highest degree and he was over the moon with the display of perfection that they put on. 

Each day is a different theme so for the next 3 weeks we will be sharing one of the days...

Today's look is Farm to Table. The family is 100% organic and one with nature so this theme was so comforting to them and I believe was the favorite of the three days. :) We incorporated a ton of fresh herbs and potted plants along with veggies and fruit cascading from all angles. The wood tables/benches and rustic vintage decor pieces really played a nice balance in the home which is full of pops of color. The menu complimented our look perfectly, with elements like our cheese display.

Take a look through the images and just imagine being there for the day, with a row of massage beds laid out on the beach for anyone who wants them and surf lessons going on in the shore break. Perfection! I don't know about you but I want to be a part of this family!

True Foods: Farm to Table Inspiration Shoot

It has been so much fun seeing the images and reflecting on the fun we had working on our Farm to Table - True Foods inspiration shoot.  We collaborated with the AMAZING Sharon from Organic Elements to showcase a Rehearsal Dinner.  We instantly fell in love with the vibe at True Food Kitchen and wanted to stay true to the location which is all about organic, healthy, and happy living!

We played off the organic and natural elements that TFK has to offer. We used their wood tables and benches, potted plants, and chicken wire baskets filled with colorful vegetables throughout. We placed a vintage floor rug, muted patterned pillows, and a cozy earthy throw to soften the wood elements. The table top was full of texture, from clusters of oriental hon-shimeji mushrooms (they are aesthetically amazing), organic garden alfalfa sprouts and seeds were tucked subtly within the beautiful blooms and place settings. We glammed up the space by throwing in a few hints of vintage and sophisticated garden inspired accents including some of my favorite blush goblets and vintage white lace china. Not to mention stunning garden roses, and cut glass decanters.

We had so much fun blending the overall organic feel with lots of romance and the warmth of a good ol fashioned meal! A rehearsal dinner’s foundation is full of love and a time for people to share true quality time together so it only felt natural to incorporate romantic and warm touches throughout the overall feel of the space.

Great Gatsby Themed Holiday Party

Gotta love a Great Gatsby theme! We are so excited to plan a Corporate Christmas party this December and play around with all the fun elements that Gatsby can bring!

We just finalized and sent the invitation - take a look for yourself! LOVE how it came out. We are so looking forward to keeping this look and feel consistent in the decor of the night. I already have my dress and headpiece as I cant resist not dressing up for this event. Lets just hope this growing belly can fit into it.

Hey Batter Batter- Baseball Themed Baby Shower

A group of us girls just threw a baby shower at my house for a dear friend.  Her husband is a major baseball fan so we found it fitting to theme the shower "Hey Batter Batter" for their new son! It was such a special day!

Red, White and Blue and all the favorites from the ball park. We had our husbands on the grill and served a gourmet spread of old fashioned favorites!  Place settings were each person's name on a jersey with a coke and cracker jack to compliment.  Favors were to go peanuts and baseballs. My favorite was the dessert tray. We made a concession stand with treats and had a friend serve it to all the guests.

The shower was a hit! I am even more pleased to say Cynthia is now holding her brand new son. We are so happy to welcome Jameson into this world!
