Wedding Wednesday: Casan and Preston's Beautiful Family Affair

THIS family definitely has a soft spot in our hearts. The moment we met the stunning bride Casan we immediately knew our wedding journey with her was going to be so much FUN (and it truly was - every last bit of it). We adore Casan and Preston and we are so incredibly happy for them. They are completely truly, madly and deeply in love with each other. Their happiness radiates when they are together and they instantly make everyone around them as happy as they are. We feel so blessed to have been apart of their big day and share in their happiness.

Throughout the entire planning process their family dynamic and Casans mother|daughter relationship was inspiring and so so sweet. Each family member poured a lot of love and sweat into planning this great family affair. Casan’s mom Leann is truly one of her best friends and they had SO. much. fun. planning this beautiful wedding together. When I mean together, I mean planning the wedding was their excuse to spend even more time together… drinking wine (from Preston’s family vineyard), shopping for accessories and creating DIY projects side by side. Their similar style was impeccable. They were always laughing and enjoying every step of the way. Take note current and future planning partners… soak it all up, sit back, relax, and take a sip of wine every once in a while. Casan is also the apple of her Fathers eye. Her family shared in so many special moments during this day including one of our favorite moments where Casan and her father showcased their choreographed father|daughter dance. They had all guests laughing, sitting on the edge of their chairs and it was even topped off with a standing ovation.

Casan and Preston's big day consisted of many surprise moments from the father|daughter first look, the church ceremony ending with a unique Rowing Arch Ceremony, to riding in style in a 1929 Convertible Packard AND a 1938 Packard! The gorgeous bridesmaids were dressed in ocean blue which paired lovely with the beautiful florals by Bethany from Splendid Sentiments. Casan and Preston’s wedding included some gorgeous peach, blush, ivory, and greens that complimented the deep mahogany walls and beautiful architecture of The Lodge at Torrey Pines.

Isabella’s Sweetest 1st Birthday

What do you do when your beautiful little princess turns one? Throw her a perfectly pretty little tea party of course! Isabella’s first birthday was such a treat for us to work on! From the sweetest little sweets table filled with BEAUTIFUL, dainty desserts to the pretty blue hutch full of customized party favors, this birthday was not lacking in personal touch!

We just adore the color scheme of pretty pinks, white and gold with pops of aqua blue. We especially fell in the cozy little blue tent and chandelier which served as the perfect place to snap adorable photos of little guests in their party bests! This party was a total blast for all the kiddos to attend from running around and playing with all their friends to chowing down on kids meals and enjoying more candy and dessert than they knew what to do with. Don't worry the parents were covered too. The adults were greeted with tray passed hor d'oeurves, live music and of course an adults only bar cart filled with some bubbly and custom beverages.

This sweet little lady sure is lucky to have such an amazingly loving and generous family and we are so happy to have shared in her special celebration! xoxo's to turning one little Isabella. Beach Wedding with Friends

Jen and Morti’s stunning wedding was so much fun for us, not only because this couple is SO MUCH FUN, but also because they mean so much to us. We enjoy all the weddings we have the pleasure of working on, but there’s nothing we enjoy more than being able to make the wedding day of our dear friends absolutely perfect!

This wedding was all about the details! From the beautiful location at Levyland in Carlsbad, to the gorgeous sun shining day, to the very personal décor, this day was truly special. The ceremony was sweet and understated, letting the beautiful Pacific Ocean act as the backdrop and this amazing couple’s love shine at center stage.

Personal touches were everywhere including a love story lined walkway leading guests through fresh lavender from the ceremony to the reception! Accents of driftwood and succulents gave the wedding a modern edge, while games like a customized SDSU beanbag toss kept the day fun and casual.

The couple opted for tables named after their favorite musicians and they danced their way into the reception to “Best Day of My Life”, by the American Authors! The individual mini potted succulents were one of our favorite details, acting as both escort card and favor. Guests will watch their succulents grow and be reminded of the love they witnessed between the bride and groom on their special day!
