A Rancho Valencia Wedding Treat: Kristin and John

Rancho Valencia. August. Not a cloud in the sky. The perfect "warm". 200 of your closest friends and family.

It does not get much better then that! Kristin and John hit the jackpot as their wedding was hands down perfect. I guess they had to because each guests was given a menu box at their table setting with a lotto ticket and scratcher. Luck was on everyone's side!

It was such a pleasure to plan Kristin and John's wedding. They were a fun couple and had a strong vision for the day right from the start. Kristin wanted a tent but did not want to hide the natural beauty of Rancho Valencia so we went with an open and flowy tent that screamed elegance and had the charm of the venues views!

Organic Elements out did themselves on the florals. The floral chandelier above the dance floor was breathtaking and the colors and vibrancy of the whole reception was just gorgeous.  One of my favorite parts of the decor were our hanging gold wrapped hula hoops as escort cards.

The live music was so authentic and the food was delicious. Thank you to the Ankeny family... we loved being let into your lives for a short while and truly enjoyed every part of the planning. You can see in the first look with Kristin and her Dad the love is strong!

Wedding Wednesday : Military Art Deco Flair

What a treat it is to post on April and Jared's wedding. It was an honor to work with this sweet couple. They all (the whole family) had so much personality and zest for life. There was never a dull moment or meeting without laughter! 

Together with Before I Do and their family they put together their dream wedding. Jared serves in our military so there were strong military ties throughout the whole event. From the Sword ceremony to the official uniform. It showed their love, honor and respect for our country! 

April wanted to have a splash of Art Deco play a part throughout the decor. She loved the purple family of hues and together those two elements came to life. Her mother JoJo designed the cigar bar, photobooth lounge, escort display and much more. They owned many of the vintage pieces you see here! We actually hauled a full truck load of their personal items to stage and set up for the wedding!

One of my favorite things was their friend was the DJ and their cousin was the MC so it added a really sweet personal touch!

a.} Each vendor you book with will re-enter you into the contest  (7 possible entrees- the more vendors you book with us the better your odds of winning) 

 b.} Signed contract date must be for the contest months of December - February 2015

4.} Package cannot be exchanged for cash and substitutions are not accepted. Upgrades can be purchased at current prices.

5.} One location, limited to in and around the San Diego area. Any where outside the area travel fees will apply.

Wedding Wednesday: A Traveling Couple Chooses The Darlington House!

We love La Jolla weddings, even more so when they’re held at the Darlington House.  The venue is just SO darling! You can’t beat a garden themed wedding in an actual Rose Garden and such a stunning one at that! Christine and Ryan were so sweet to work with. They are a kind and loving couple that have actually known each other since Kindergarten!

Christine and Ryan’s love of travel and adventure for life played an understated theme throughout their wedding. They displayed subtle travel accents that took on their sense of adventure such as a seating chart map, destination-inspired tables, to their ceremony programs outlining their travels together around the world. Their romantic fete was also filled with unique and special elements collected by Christine’s mother. All the beautiful decor pieces including all the vases and lanterns were hand picked by her mom Dianne. Everything looked beautiful and fit perfectly with the eclectic character of the Darlington House! Behind the scene we flipped the Rose Garden from the ceremony to the reception in under an hour. Thanks to the help of the truly talented Organic Elements team, it was a total success! Christine and Ryan truly had the best day of their lives as they celebrated with their closest friends and family all night!
