Wedding Wednesday: Kori and Brian's Timeless Love

It's Wedding Wednesday and… this Southern inspired wedding has been in our wedding vault for quite some time but we love to see that a past wedding is still classically beautiful till this day. Kori and Brian were such a sweet bride and groom so deserving of this beautiful day! Along with the beautiful sun shinning San Diego skies, Kori was such a beaming and beautiful bride. This wedding was classic, elegant and simply sweet! From the gorgeous dusty blue linens to the decadent mini dessert array including mini cheesecakes, blueberry donut bites, fruit tarts and so much more, the reception at The Santaluz Club could not have been more fitting for the timeless theme of this wedding.

Beginning with an elegant ceremony at St. Therese of Carmel, the wedding party of close family and friends radiated the joy of this beautiful day. Kori’s dress with minimal tulle and a stunning lace bodice complimented the bridal party with their light and bright color palette! Can we tell you how much we loved that her sister, her Maid of Honor was in a dress a shade darker than the others. Blush Botanicals provided exquisite corals, blush, and peach blooms with beautiful lush and fresh greenery to compliment the pale blue undertones of the linens. We can’t get over how amazing the fresh ferns were placed within glass vessels. From the lace on Kori’s dress, to the delicate lace details on the reception tables, Kori and Brian’s wedding will be one to remember “for absolutely ever”!

Wedding Wednesday: Erica and Raphael's Sweet + Intimate Wedding

Erica and Raphael opted to keep their bridal party small and included only their immediate siblings, nieces, nephew and of course their fur baby, Zico! The best kind of honored guest! The photos tell it all, thanks Marisa. It's so much fun to include all your besties in your bridal party, but we also love when our couples decide to "keep it in the family". The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe served as the perfect intimate setting for this couple to pledge their eternal love and commitment to each other and their little bundle of joy on the way!!!  The day couldn't have been more beautiful. The sun was shining and the warm evening was perfect for dining and dancing under the stars!

With the property in full bloom, the decor was kept minimal with simple additions of sweet signage created by Jillian Ziska, soft pink and peach florals by Plenty of Petals. By far the show stopper was the donut bar which was set in front of a gorgeous blooming purple trumpet vine tempting guests to come and eat them! Stacks and piles of melt in your mouth donuts from the one and only nostalgic VG's Desserts were served with cold milk in vintage milk jars for all guests to enjoy (more than once). Such a fun spin on dessert!

Erica was stunning in layers of white tulle and lace and her pretty gold flops ensured that her feet stayed happy the whole night! This couple was so much fun to work with and their love and happiness were infectious! We were very grateful to have been a part of this very special day! Congratulations Erica and Raf on your beautiful marriage and precious baby boy Lincoln!!!

Isabella’s Sweetest 1st Birthday

What do you do when your beautiful little princess turns one? Throw her a perfectly pretty little tea party of course! Isabella’s first birthday was such a treat for us to work on! From the sweetest little sweets table filled with BEAUTIFUL, dainty desserts to the pretty blue hutch full of customized party favors, this birthday was not lacking in personal touch! 

We just adore the color scheme of pretty pinks, white and gold with pops of aqua blue. We especially fell in the cozy little blue tent and chandelier which served as the perfect place to snap adorable photos of little guests in their party bests! This party was a total blast for all the kiddos to attend from running around and playing with all their friends to chowing down on kids meals and enjoying more candy and dessert than they knew what to do with. Don't worry the parents were covered too. The adults were greeted with tray passed hor d'oeurves, live music and of course an adults only bar cart filled with some bubbly and custom beverages. 

This sweet little lady sure is lucky to have such an amazingly loving and generous family and we are so happy to have shared in her special celebration! xoxo's to turning one little Isabella.
