This California beauty had a free-spirit bohemian feel written all over it. Ashley and Greg’s wedding was such an incredible celebration of their beautiful love for each other and we were SO thrilled to be a part of it! Throughout the entire planning process Ashley and Greg were such a fun and sweet couple to work with, not to mention we also got to work with the sweetest MOB ever (Kim, if you are reading this you can adopt me any day). We also had the pleasure of working close with Ashley's sister and even her dad throughout a few surprise elements to the big day. It was an absolute joy to work with this caring, fun and close nit family. Ashley and Greg’s wedding was pret-ty lovely and reflected them perfectly! It was such an amazing wedding to be a part of and we had so much fun planning the wedding of their dreams together!
From the beginning, the wedding naturally showcased a bohemian, free-spirited air to it that was inspired by the beautiful bride herself. Ashley looked absolutely breath taking in a stunning gown featuring delicate details of beaded feathers on the shoulders and a deep V cut in both the front and back of the wedding gown. The bridesmaids were dressed in light grey chiffon dresses, and both Ashley and her closest ladies paired their gowns with gorgeous flower crowns delicately crafted by AE Floral.
Following the heart felt wedding ceremony, guests were greeted at the lovely Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club where there was a dramatic hand carved backdrop waiting for their arrival. At the entrance each guest had a red carpet moment and struck a pose before entering the cocktail hour. These photos were later used for their handwritten and personalized thank you notes that were mailed to each guest! What a fun and sweet memory for all. Following the photo opportunity, guests enjoyed refreshing cocktails and live music on the grassy patio before being escorted inside for dinner and toasts. Dinner was held in the ballroom which had been completely transformed using a natural color palette and beautifully designed with unstructured organic touches everywhere. The tablescapes were laden with greens and wild flowers in varying glass vessels. Each place setting had a single blush toned flower or piece of greenery accenting the top of textured napkins which were delicately wrapped with silk string for an overall pretty pop. The perfect touch was added by the stunning print work done by the Bride’s own sister!
That’s not it… following dinner and the touching toasts made by the friends and family of the couple, the party continued in another, yes another fire lit room that we had fitted with lounge pieces, a rocking band, and a floral crown station for all to enjoy. Flower crowns and flash tats were a total crowd pleaser, super playful and further enhanced the fun, whimsical effects of the entire wedding. The happy couple shared their first dance here before leading guests into a hidden room where a band was waiting to surprise their guests! The beautiful essence of Ashley and Greg’s love truly shined through every aspect of their wedding and it was such an amazing event to be a part of! Their wedding was even chosen to be featured on the front cover of Exquisite Magazine! Congratulations to this beautiful beautiful couple!! We wish you two the very best and a life long adventure together!
