Wedding Wednesday: Julie and Jon's Wedding

Get ready to be in AWE of this couple! I can say from the bottom of my heart that they are one of the sweetest and most in love couples.  I had such a great time working with them both.  They adore each other and it could not be more apparent.  I am excited to share with you their March 24th, Darlington House- La Jolla wedding.

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was all held at the Darlington House.  It was so quaint as the space is intimate and romantic.  The rose bushes were in full bloom and the guitarist (family friend) was getting everyone in the groove.  When you walked into the reception the overwhelming smell of flowers was straight from a fairy tale.  Between the rose bushes and Annette Gomez's flowers, all the senses were aroused!

I have two favorite parts of the night, the kind that makes me fall in love with what I do all over again.  Jon has a daughter and son from a previous marriage- Hana and Calvin. Hana sang the most beautiful song to them during the ceremony.  She is 11 years old and as fearless as they come.  Later in the night, when it came time for the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance they brought in a special twist.  Jon's little girl, Hana and Jon joined in for the Father/Daughter dance and Julie and Calvin joined in for the Mother/Son dance.  It was so incredible to see to kids so excited to welcome Julie into the family.

Thanks to the amazing Stone Crandall we have some stunning images to look through.  He did such a great job of capturing the feel and emotion from the night.
