Enjet Media has hit it out of the park. This video captures EVERY single element of Liz and Tim's day! I was in awe of the entire production they put together. I cried, laughed and gleamed ear to ear with a smile the entire time I was watching it!
I will be giving you the full scope on Liz and Tim's wedding when I have their incredible pictures in hand from Brandon Kidd Photography so stay tuned...

Finishing Touches Tuesday: One Step Closer To My Newly Designed Office
My weekend spent with a sick hubby, baby and myself was made WAY more exciting when I got the call that my new reupholstered pieces were finished! My tired achy body jumped for joy and completely escaped the miserable cold that plagued it, as I watched each piece enter my new office. I love seeing before and after shots so I thought I would share them with you all.
There is beauty in everything... Sometimes you just have to search a little deeper. Stay tuned for the complete room soon.

Vendor Love Monday: Ashleigh Taylor Photography
We are very excited to travel up to Santa Ynez's beautiful wine country for Lance and Ashley's wedding this summer at the stunning Sunstone Winery Villa. You are going to DIE when you look at this villa! Tammi and I have actually been to this area quite a bit, as it's her boyfriends home town... and lets just say we cannot wait for our next visit! It really is a magical place. Untouched, romantic, and quaint!
We have seen bits and pieces of the inspiration going into the details of their wedding and we can already tell that it is going to be one of a kind. We totally dig Ashley's style and will be anxiously waiting to see it come to life!

Friday Fun: Posh Paperie's Petites
What a perfect idea for a custom print shop. The girls behind Posh have decided to make a "ready to order" line of Save the Dates and Invitations. It allows you to chose the design, color, font and text and get a custom look for less!
The designs you can choose from are some of the most popular lines in their portfolio and have themes to please you all. Everything from modern to whimsical.
Check out their site to find out more details. Here is the fun package I got in the mail with all the goodies to launch the new program!

Thoroughly Inspired: New Office Space
I am so excited to have a new office. I have taken it on as my new project to make it fabulous! It has been fun, kinda stressful and so liberating. I have learned to follow the advice I sometimes give to my brides - "do not over think things, as you will suck the life of out it. Let it happen naturally". For a while I was in a rut and not loving the direction it was going. I re-focused and listened to the voice in my head and the joy resumed. I cant wait to see all my pieces and elements come to life. I have curtains and 3 "chairs" at the upholster so as you can imagine I am so anxious to get them back and finish the space.
Until then here is some of my inspiration...
Here are the fabrics I went with (minus the green). I found them at Home Fabrics, which is the BEST store ever. Fabric runs from $6.99-$14.99 a yard and the selection is huge.

As you may know, 'Emerald' has been reigned "Color of the Year" by the color experts at Pantone. Ever since this announcement (back in December), Pinterest and the blogosphere have been blowing up with emerald-themed photos, products, and posts...and rightfully so! But I have to confess, it's taking me a while to blend green into my everyday style. It just hasn't been a color I've naturally gravitated toward nor a color that I think flatters my skin tone. I do, however, love incorporating nature and this seems to be my path toward emerald bliss. Combining emerald with crisp whites, soft mints and peaches, or rustic browns is how I'm able to bring this trend into my home and closet.

Wedding Wednesday: Kristin and Sam's Wedding
I thought this spectacular wedding was a fitting first post for the New Year! With only 6 weeks to plan and 350 guests we had our hands full! I will never forget Kristin calling me in late August to tell me about her Oct 5th wedding date. I surely figured she meant of 2013 but quickly realized she was meaning in 42 days! Luckily she hired me on the phone :) and the rest of history. The 3 of us hit it off right from the start. Both Tammi and I totally feel in love with Kristin's SWEET, generous and always positive spirit. Her and Sam were such an incredible couple and took all the decision making and hard work in stride!
The ceremony was held at her parents home in Rancho Santa Fe. Kristin had always dreamed of marrying in her backyard. Her hopes were fully met as her Dad built a railroad cross in front of the natural growing arch covered with foliage. 350 white chiavari chairs lined the green grass and all the small touches were at each turn. We had a lavender infused water and champage bar, stunning ceremony programs, and cones filled with lavender for their ceremony exit. It was so warm and welcoming and trulely stunning.
The cocktail hour and reception was held at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, a hotel and restaurant down the street from their house that they grew up going to. We brought in two large lounge areas to make enough room for the guests to sit and adorned the cocktail hour with the work of Annette Gomez.
It was not hard to pick and stick to a theme as Kristin had been dreaming up this day for a while. She wanted a natural and effortless classic look. She wanted it to air on the side of "preppy" but lean more towards "timeless elegance". We mixed powder blue with pinks/blushes and deep emerald green. She wanted it to feel beautiful but not stuffy so we added a rustic twist with wood long banquet tables. Doing that allowed us to get more playful with some fun colors, fluffy blooms, elegant mercury glass, and LOTS of candles. Danielle Leopold did all of the print work. Every item was custom designed and totally fitting for the style.
The Inn put on a delicious dinner to be followed by a yummy Michele Coulon cake and a ragging dance party from the Wayne Foster band! The dance floor was packed the entire evening and the energy was out of control. I feel so blessed to have been able to work with such a unique and special family and couple. Cheers to you both.
xo,
Michele
